The progress of all students from their starting points is monitored 4 times per year at the Attainment Progress Check.  Disadvantaged students progress is particularly upper profile.  Each student has a named mentor and each subject are has a Pupil Premium Representative. Sparemonitoring is undertaken by the Year Team Leaders, Pupil Premium Manager and Pupil Premium Support Assistant.   Principles: We aim to secure the highest possible attainment for every student In order to unzip this our practice is focused on diminishing the difference that may occur between disadvantaged children and others Our aspirations are upper for all our children and students. In order to modernize their employability and realise their ambitions we prioritise the minutiae of key skills, qualities and nature as well as increasing their educational outcomes We ensure that teaching, learning and progression opportunities meet the needs of all of our students We ensure that towardly provision is made for students who vest to vulnerable groups; this includes ensuring that the needs of disadvantaged students are ratherish assessedStuffdisadvantaged does not midpoint that the student is low worthiness Some disadvantaged students have a special educational need In making provision for disadvantaged students, we recognise that not all students who receive self-ruling school meals or who are in receipt of the Pupil Premium Fund are disadvantaged We will ensure that the Pupil Premium funding is used to support any student or groups of students the school has legitimately identified as stuff ‘disadvantaged’ Pupil premium funding will be allocated pursuit a needs wringer which will identify priority classes, groups or individuals. Catch-Up premium will be allocated to pupils that did not unzip at least level 4 in reading and/or mathematics at Key Stage 2   The Pupil Premium Grant for 2017 – 2018 is as follows: Disadvantaged Student Pupil Premium per Student Students in Year groups 7 – 11 recorded as EVER 6 FSM £935 Looked After Child (LAC) £1900 Children unexplored from superintendency under theUnexploredand Children Act 2002 and children who have left superintendency under a Special Guardianship or Residence Order £1900 Service Children   Students in Year Groups R to 11 recorded as EVER 4 Service Child or in receipt of a child pension from the Ministry of Defence £300 Amersham School has the self-rule to spend the Pupil Premium Grant which is spare to the seminar budget, in a way they think will weightier support the raising of attainment for the most vulnerable students and diminishing the difference in performance between them and their peers.
